We share 99.6% of our genetic material. 99.6% of ”us” dreams the same things, but we come to define ourselves only by what makes us different. We build fictions and feel safe inside of them. Fictions where we are different from the rest.
99.6% is a collective work of nine Hungarian and Romanian artists who met around the Centenary to talk about what brings them together. About cohabitation and common language. 99.6% is not a performance, but a fragile journey towards acceptance and solidarity.
The performance was part of the project „Romania – a century of love and hate”, co-financed by AFCN (The Administration of the National Cultural Fund).
