Reactor de creație și experiment is a cultural space dedicated to the performing arts, running since 2014 in the courtyard at number 4 Petőfi Sándor Street in Cluj-Napoca, like a bubble in the middle of a changing city, yet also deeply tied to it.

The belief that a rich cultural environment is essential to a city's development, and to the quality of life of its residents and audiences, is just one of the reasons the Reactor team believes in collaboration and exchange of ideas, keeping close ties with other members of the artistic community in Cluj-Napoca and across the country. Since opening in 2014, the Reactor space has become an important part of the cultural landscape in Cluj and nationally, an open space accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds.

This openness to people and ideas has turned Reactor into a catalyst for creative energies, a place that doesn't restrict freedom of expression and that encourages artistic experiment. A sense of responsibility toward one's own voice and curiosity for new artistic languages have brought together, around Reactor, a community of artists who work with care and commitment.
