Fresh start
ABOUT the residency
Fresh Start is a framework for creation and experiment for young theatre graduates. The residencies include workshops and their own productions, tours to other independent venues across the country, and the chance to stay in the permanent repertoire of Reactor de creație și experiment. In the past, the workshops were led by David Schwartz, a theatre director experienced in documentary theatre, and Sinkó Ferenc, an actor and lecturer at the Faculty of Theatre and Television in Cluj-Napoca, experienced in choreography and performance.
Who can apply
Young graduates not yet employed in the field, up to four years after graduating, from the Romanian- and Hungarian-language sections of theatre faculties in Romania (directing, acting, scenography, playwriting). Artists willing to experiment, research, work as a team and learn more about producing a show in an independent environment.
