Three folks in a gas station, halfway to anywhere. A cleaning lady, a gas station attendant, a customer, and a day that just keeps on repeating. A bridge being built and then falling apart over a lake, a road trip to Paris, a baby in its mother's belly—all set in that whimsical, strange space between absurd humor and everyday drama. How much do we hold, and how much do our memories hold us? How do we make peace with everything life throws our way? Is it enough of a victory just to have a body, an identity, and a memory? What do we have to trade in to keep moving forward?
A wonderful show produced during the Fresh Start 2021 residency, joyfully co-funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration and the Cluj-Napoca City Hall!
