LOC

LOC is a platform dedicated to investigating the concept of interspecies dwelling in Cluj-Napoca. It has three main components — art, education and research — and brings together artists, scientists and civil society actors, offering the space and tools to explore urban dynamics from the perspective of global warming, access to resources, gentrification and segregation, urban planning and, not least, environmental impact.

The LOC platform's interface is an augmented reality app that functions as a gallery of AR projects populating the city virtually.

The AR experiences are also available for classroom study, providing a basis for debates on the subjects mentioned above.
