ABOUT STARS

Every night we look at the stars, but how much do we really know about them? What would you say if you found out that, somewhere above the clouds, there are creatures responsible for bringing light down to Earth? Lum and Echo have lived up there, above us, for an eternity, and their job is to light the stars every evening. Strict rules and preconceptions, though, end up causing a conflict between the two old friends. Luckily, our lamplighters get a little nudge from the outside, which helps them see things in a different light. "Despre stele" ("About Stars") is a show for children 4+, built around tolerance and communication as its main themes. Lum and Echo's story is meant to remind us how important friendship is, and that inner light always comes from love and understanding, never from stereotypes and restrictions.
