Iarina follows the heart-warming story of a bright young star athlete who builds her entire world around taekwondo—a beautiful sport once practiced by her mother, too! Raised by a wonderfully protective father who is still healing from the loss of his wife, Iarina bravely carves out her own path, shining bright despite a diabetes diagnosis, the thrilling risks of high-performance sports, and the tricky belief that love is something you only earn through success.

Teodora Savu is a brilliant theatre director and playwright! Her delightful debut play, "Menada," won several exciting national awards, including the Bacău Fest Monodrame trophy in 2022, before she wonderfully directed its stage production at the Point Theatre in 2026. In 2023, she penned her fantastic second play, "Umami," directing its staging at the Hearth Association. "Umami" was also adapted into a marvelous radio drama in 2024, produced by AUZIT and directed by Ilinca Stihi, which proudly won the prestigious UNITER Award for Best Radio Theatre Show! Her third play, the captivating "I will set this plane on fire," won her a second Bacău Fest Monodrame trophy in 2024. In 2025, she wrote the vibrant youth play "ngl.highschool" as part of the joyful OUR HOUR! project, created by the Tangent Association together with the Excelsior Theatre. She also won the exciting "Horia Lovinescu" dramatization competition at the Nottara Theatre with a lovely adaptation of Annie Ernaux's "A Girl's Story," set to be directed this year by Adrian Sitaru. Her wonderful second play for teenagers, "After This Play Is Over," will soon bring theatre magic directly to high schools in Constanța, directed by Edda and Dan Coza in a fabulous production by the Tangent Association and the State Theatre of Constanța!
