How many times have you wallowed for days on end in your own emotional mud because it felt more justified than trying to pull yourself together? How many times have those attempts seemed to lead further and further down, no matter your optimistic direction and self-saving intentions? How many times has it seemed like everyone else was better adapted to life on Earth than you are?

Four performers were commissioned by a director to make a show on the theme of identity crisis and the depression that follows it, but it's unclear how far it should go. They might mess it up, they might never recover at all. But there are all kinds of ways to cope with the situation: mindfulness sessions, bleak trips into the past, giving up, and others.
