What happens when we can't see past the differences that set us apart? How can we find a way to focus on what unites us? Mihai and George rule over the Northern and Southern Realms, and today is the day they have to find a way to bring their two peoples together in the same space. The two struggle with the differences between them and between the peoples they rule, but seem unable to find the right approach. Luckily for them, they get a bit of help from the outside… "Tărâmul de Mijloc" ("The Middle Realm") is an animation show that aims to bring important themes like diversity and tolerance before children. Through the two rulers' attempts to find a middle way and avoid disaster, little ones are introduced to ideas like acceptance and mutual respect. The show sets out to highlight that the differences between us aren't a problem - quite the opposite, and that they let us learn from one another.
