The fabulous Alexandra Bădescu was born in Craiova and famously startled her grandmother with a birthmark on her face that simply wouldn't wash away—not with time, spit, or lasers! This instantly sparked her journey as the wonderfully unique "other," guiding her creative spark toward everything on the vibrant edges of our minds and society: from alienation and family ties to our connection with Mother Earth, neurodivergence, the manosphere, and overcoming violence. Alexandra loves to write it all—press articles, essays, short and feature film scripts, tasty recipes, forensic reports, and now, brilliant theatre! She writes in English, Romanian, Dutch, or more often, a playful mix of them all, sprinkled with her own made-up words.
