The wonderfully talented Polish artists Janek Turkowski and Iwona Nowacka are hosting a delightful online video-storytelling workshop with Cluj-based artists from June 16 to 23, 2020! This exciting project is realized in a warm partnership with the Polish Institute in Bucharest.
These two amazing creators from Poland specialize in theatrical performances based on video-storytelling, using fascinating archives and video recordings to craft immersive experiences. With plenty of humor and playful self-irony, they love to gently question the creative process itself!
Originally planned to take place in cozy Cluj-Napoca, the event has been reimagined for the online world, turning the challenge of not being able to meet physically into a creative theme for the workshop itself! Ten wonderful performing artists from Cluj will participate, and we can't wait to share the final creative gems online at the end of the month.
This joy-filled event is part of the "Decalaj. Intergenerational Narratives" program, which aims to bring different generations closer together through the magic of storytelling. It also features three brand-new theatre plays, a cultural mediation platform, and lovely film screenings highlighting the themes of the plays.

This wonderful cultural program is created in partnership with the Polish Institute in Bucharest and co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
The program does not necessarily represent the official position of the Administration of the National Cultural Fund. The AFCN is not responsible for the content of the project or how its results may be used. These are entirely the responsibility of the grant beneficiary.
