This fantastic program brings together 56 talented students from the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș (23 students) and Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Theater and Film (33 students), showcasing five amazing creative paths: acting, directing, theater studies, set design, playwriting, and cultural management.
Over 10 action-packed days, our participants will team up to form seven dynamic, interdisciplinary groups, stepping into the shoes of independent theater companies! Each creative crew will craft and present a captivating 15-minute showcase, guided by seven incredible, seasoned mentors from the artistic world:
from the Reactor Creation and Experiment Association:
Oana Mardare – actress and cultural manager,
Tavi Voina – actor and performer,

This wonderful journey offers students a golden opportunity to dive headfirst into the magical creation and production process of independent theater, building team spirit and practical skills in a real, professional playground!
And the best part? You, our lovely audience, can watch these 7 unique mini-performances come to life on July 14, 2025, at the Reactor Space in Cluj-Napoca!
This exciting journey runs from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2027, brought to life by the ARTE 21 – World Stories Association in partnership with the Reactor Creation and Experiment Association Cluj-Napoca and the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș. Its wonderful mission is to elevate the quality, inclusivity, effectiveness, and relevance of the higher education system in 2 state universities, opening brilliant doors for 251 performing arts students to step into internships perfectly aligned with today's theater scene!
We are also delighted to welcome our associate partner, Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Theater and Film, supporting this journey by guiding 151 students through their internships, while 100 enthusiastic students from the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș complete our fabulous group.
The lucky participating students will enjoy tailor-made training programs designed just for them by ARTE 21 – World Stories and the Reactor Creation and Experiment Association, covering all your favorite arts: acting, directing, playwriting, theater studies & cultural management, set design, choreography, music, and multimedia!
The fun is spread across 4 semesters, with students simulating independent theater troupes to create a delightful 15-minute slice of a show. These mini-gems will be presented on stage in Târgu Mureș and Cluj-Napoca! To make things even more thrilling, one lucky troupe per semester will win a fantastic prize of 15,000 RON to bring their entire show to life! These 4 complete productions will then be proudly presented to the public at the grand festival hosted by the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș, wrapping up our project in style.
To make things even better, the project includes a brilliant research component led by the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș, exploring emotional and social skills in the performing arts to keep making education more wonderful.
