It aims to brighten and improve the quality, inclusivity, effectiveness, and relevance of the education system in 2 state universities by offering 251 performing arts students fantastic access to practical internships tailored to the modern job market!
Our wonderful associate partner, Babeș-Bolyai University, Faculty of Theatre and Film, will be supporting the project by facilitating internships for 151 students. Another 100 enthusiastic students enrolled at the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș will complete our target group for this venture.
Students joining this adventure will enjoy tailored internship programs designed just for them by the ARTE 21 – World Stories Association and the Reactor Creation and Experiment Association across various fields: acting, directing, playwriting, theatre studies-cultural management, scenography, choreography, music, and multimedia.
These amazing internships will run in 4 series (one per semester), simulating independent theater troupes who will prepare a 15-minute showcase. After each showcase, one lucky simulated troupe per semester will win a prize of 15,000 RON to stage their full-length show! The resulting 4 productions will then be proudly presented to the public during a grand festival organized by the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș, wrapping up our project in style.
To make things even better, the project includes research into development needs, focusing on socio-emotional skills in the performing arts—spearheaded by the University of Arts in Târgu Mureș.
