This is a little snippet of the cheerful chatter from our spring cleaning just a few days ago in the attic where our sets and props are stored. It is so wonderful to see how many magical universes can fit into one attic! And, of course, a little bittersweet too.

"I'm not sure where to put these, I don't think we're performing it anymore."

(Almost) nothing goes to waste, everything gets a second life! So many treasures are kept simply because "maybe we'll need it someday." It’s like the ultimate bag of bags—beautiful, painted, some quite expensive, and all bursting with personality!

"I can't believe how much we've collected!" Doru says with a smile while carrying a heavier piece of the set.

Almost every acting class dreams at some point of making theatre together even after graduation. To have "their own theatre." Maybe it's out of a bit of fear, maybe because of the tight bond created over 3 years of living and working together, but most of all, for that beautiful feeling of being big kids playing a very serious, joyful game. Usually, this dream bumps into reality and fades away.

"Oh my goodness, do you remember this?"

"Oh, yes!"

The attic is all tidy now. Our theatrical universes are in perfect order. Everyone is outside taking a breather. It’s starting to get warm enough in the courtyard that you want to hang out even if you're not a smoker. It doesn't take long to realize that Reactor has gathered so much more than just sets over the last 6 years—it has gathered a beautiful community.
