Calling all performers!
Join us to explore loss and identity in a wonderful workshop with Olivia Grecea!
As part of the exciting "Community Coagulations" project currently unfolding at Reactor, artist Olivia Grecea is hosting a wonderfully reflective workshop on the theme of loss between September 23rd and 25th!
We will dive into our personal experiences and biographies to explore the many beautiful facets of loss—not just grief (losing a loved one), but also separations, changes, letting go, the loss of a special place, a relationship, an important object, or even a past version of ourselves.
Over three cozy meetings, we’ll work with gentle introspection exercises, creative narrative techniques, writing prompts, and playful performative exercises to view our experiences of loss from refreshing new perspectives. The workshop aims to create a warm, supportive space where we can embrace what we've lost, appreciate what remains, and see how these experiences continue to beautifully shape who we are today!
Absolutely no previous artistic experience is needed! Just bring your wonderful curiosity and a willingness to explore your own experiences, completely at your own comfortable pace.
Workshop Schedule*:
September 23: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
September 24: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
September 25: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
*We warmly recommend attending all three sessions to get the full experience!
