Perspectives – a wonderful new cultural program is kicking off just in time for the end of the year at Reactor!

Join us for fabulous performances, creative workshops, radio drama, and inspiring discussions in a brand-new project celebrating the magic of work and love!

As the year winds down, the creative sparks are just flying at Reactor! We are thrilled to kick off our new multi-annual cultural program, carrying on our exciting exploration of the future. Our vibrant new program, Perspectives, invites you on a wonderful journey to look at tomorrow through the beautiful lenses of love, work, and personal space. Get ready for two delightful new theatre productions, engaging workshops, lively debates, and cozy radio plays exploring these themes from all angles until the summer of 2023!

We are already hard at work on the very first production, set to charm you in March next year! This lovely show will be directed by the wonderful Petro Ionescu, with a captivating script by Cosmin Stănilă, exploring how love speaks and blossoms within our unique personal and social worlds.

This month, we are also bringing you an inspiring debate featuring the brilliant Croatian philosopher and author Srećko Horvat alongside Cluj's fantastic sociologists Dana Domșodi and Sorin Gog, titled Reinventing our future. Born in 1983, Srécko Horvat is one of the most exciting and dynamic voices to emerge on the scene since the 2008 financial crisis. Since 2008, he has organized the wonderful Subversive Festival in Zagreb, a lively forum for discussing social and political themes in South-Eastern Europe. Together with Slavoj Žižek, he co-authored the insightful book "What Does Europe Want? The Union and Its Discontents." This captivating debate will dive into our key themes from political, social, ecological, and philosophical angles. Make sure to tune in on January 11, 2022, on Reactor's YouTube channel to catch the premiere and kick off this fantastic public program!

The excitement continues as Srécko Horvat joins us again next year, returning to Cluj to host a wonderfully stimulating critical thinking workshop!

But wait, there's more! The Perspectives program also brings you: a fabulous storytelling workshop with the amazing Ana Maria Ciobanu from Decât o Revistă, a marvelous co-production between Reactor and the Andrei Mureșanu Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe, and a delightful surprise collaboration with the National Radio Theatre. Plus, our beloved Framework critical thinking workshop is back in an exciting new format!

We can't wait to share all the exciting details with you as they unfold over the next 18 months!
