Get ready! The very first Reactor showcase: Routes to Solidarity is coming your way this February!
February 10-13
Reactor de creație și experiment – 4 Petőfi Sándor Street
ZIZ – Art and Social Area – 5 Paris Street
Get ready for four spectacular days! This exciting showcase will bring together Reactor's latest and most representative productions, sparking wonderful conversations about how we can stand in solidarity as artists, cultural creators, and vibrant communities. Our six fantastic shows will be performed both at the cozy Reactor space and the lively ZIZ - Art and Social Area.
A wonderful group of passionate artists and cultural organizers from Romania and abroad will gather in Cluj from February 10th to 13th! Alongside enjoying the six delightful performances on the program, they will participate in a series of exciting events designed to highlight the city's alternative performing arts scene, while offering a perfect opportunity for friendly networking and inspiring exchanges of ideas.
Throughout our journey, Reactor’s projects have always embraced a beautiful sense of social responsibility towards the communities we serve. Whether through our engaging plays or other creative activities (like artist residencies, debates, and forum theater), we love exploring different artistic expressions! We truly believe it is our calling to react thoughtfully and critically to the world around us. That is why, at a time when bringing people together is more important than ever, our showcase proudly centers on the beautiful ideas of solidarity and community—exploring the creative forms solidarity can take, how much we need it, and how we can happily rediscover and strengthen our bonds together.
This wonderful event is warmly supported by the Romanian Cultural Institute, the German Cultural Center Cluj-Napoca, and the French Institute of Cluj-Napoca. Our lovely partner venue is ZIZ- Art and Social Area.

Together, we are artistically exploring the inspiring concepts of community and solidarity across the lovely cities of Cluj-Napoca and Oslo. This marks our delightful second collaboration with our Norwegian friends, following the success of the Fágaș project from 2022-2024.

The EEA and Norway Grants represent the wonderful contribution of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway towards a green, competitive, and inclusive Europe. These grants focus on two inspiring goals: reducing economic and social disparities in Europe and strengthening friendship and bilateral relations between the donor countries and 15 EU countries in Central and Southern Europe and the Baltics. These three donor nations cooperate closely with the EU through the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement. Between 1994 and 2014, the donors generously provided EUR 3.3 billion through successive grant schemes. For the 2014-2021 period, the EEA and Norway Grants amount to a fantastic EUR 2.8 billion.
