I'm afraid, you're afraid, we are all afraid! And so very often, we find ourselves afraid of one another, or of the crowd. We can feel a bit on edge side-by-side, which sometimes sends us searching for ways to shut each other out. There are so many curious ways we set the stage for this, and so many ways we justify our acts. Masculinity, for instance, can make for the most dramatic pretext of all!
