La Plasticatta is a delightful experimental musical theatre show that wonderfully blends original contemporary opera with catchy elements of pop, hip hop, and dubstep!
Built on the classic structure of a three-act opera, this vibrant show takes a playful swing at the consumerism in our society. While our days are busy with work and activities, moments of pure rest or simply doing nothing are becoming rare treasures! Today, free time often feels like another task where we're expected to be productive or creative.
Starting from the humdrum of capitalism's daily routines, the show happily invites you into the shiny, artificial universe of a model couple trying to live up to modern standards—only to hilariously fail at building their perfect world!
This wonderful show was produced as part of the cultural program "Gap. Intergenerational Narratives," proudly co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund.
