As part of the delightful Reactor Open House, four wonderful artists facilitated an inspiring artistic laboratory for their colleagues, centered around key terms in theatre practice and how these concepts reverberate in their creative work. Together, they shared beautiful word meanings, fresh visions, and collaborative working methodologies!
divergent common vocabulary is a wonderful part of this project, where 13 enthusiastic members of the Reactor audience occasionally joined the laboratory processes. They later dived even deeper during special workshops into the terminology and other fascinating phenomena related to the magic of being part of a theatre show or performance, no matter their role in this beautiful ecosystem.
The exciting explorations of this working group have been gathered into a lively collective publication. It brings together possible meanings of the words we love to use in the performing arts, subjective journeys, playful deconstructions of meaning, curious questions with half-answers, vibrant visual representations, and so much more!
On October 5th, we warmly invite you to dig into the creative process with us and share in what we've lovingly created! We might do something performative, or we might not—either way, it will be a joy!
We are delighted to share that this cultural project is co-funded by the Administration of the National Cultural Fund!
Please note, the project does not necessarily represent the official position of the Administration of the National Cultural Fund. AFCN is not responsible for the content of the project or how its wonderful results might be used—these are entirely the happy responsibility of the funding beneficiary.
This project was wonderfully brought to life with the enthusiastic support of the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and Local Council!
